Two New Training Sessions on LCA and ESG to Tackle Sustainability Challenges

This February and March, Formazione TerreLogiche is offering two live-streaming online courses dedicated to sustainability and corporate circularity management. These training sessions provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to navigate the challenges of an increasingly sustainability-driven economy.

The courses will be delivered in Italian, but upon request, they can also be delivered in English for groups of participants from organizations and companies seeking specialized training.

"LCA: Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Sustainability" (February 26-27-28)
This course delves into Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, a key tool for analyzing and quantifying the environmental impact of products, activities, or processes throughout their entire lifecycle. The training is highly practical, focusing on the use of OpenLCA, an open-source platform that enables precise and efficient analyses.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the most appropriate boundaries for an LCA study;
  • Define the functional unit of reference for quantifying impacts across various categories (e.g., ocean acidification, eutrophication, ecotoxicity, climate-altering emissions, stratospheric ozone depletion, etc.);
  • Create a material and energy flow diagram and replicate it within OpenLCA to quantify elementary flows, processes, and product systems;
  • Quantify, analyze, and interpret environmental impacts;
  • Conduct comparative analysis between different projects.

"ESG: Tools to Measure Sustainability and the Circularity Level of an Organization" (March 12-13 and 17-18)

This training module provides cutting-edge tools and methodologies to assess sustainability and circularity at both company and product levels. Combining theory and practice, the course features real-world case studies and online platforms for the immediate application of acquired concepts.

By the end of the course, participants will gain expertise in:

  • Understanding the regulatory and strategic planning framework at national and international levels in the field of sustainability;
  • Assessing the sustainability approach of public administrations;
  • Identifying key corporate sustainability reporting methods;
  • Applying major international protocols to quantify Carbon Footprint;
  • Using circular transition indicators to evaluate circularity at company and product levels.

During the course, participants will work with B Corp Impact Assessment, GPP Toolkit, and CTI Tool to evaluate and quantify sustainability impacts in businesses, organizations, and public entities, as well as determine product circularity levels. Additionally, advanced spreadsheets will be used to manage climate and circular economy data.

A Unique Opportunity to Invest in Sustainability Training

The courses can be attended individually or as part of a “course boundle”, which provides a discounted rate and the flexibility to pay in installments.
