12-14 November 2025, Milano XII° AIT International Conference

Smart Earth Observation for a Sustainable Future. The 12th AIT International Conference, to be held in Milan from November 12 to 14, 2025

This major event will bring together experts, researchers, professionals, institutions, and students to explore the cutting-edge developments in remote sensing. The program will feature plenary and parallel sessions, poster presentations, and networking opportunities.

Over three days, participants will engage with the latest in remote sensing research, development, and technology transfer, focusing on topics such as:

  • Near real-time monitoring of natural resources
  • Retrospective environmental analyses of climate and human impacts
  • Risk monitoring, assessment, and prevention
  • Data acquisition and integration from sensor networks, UAV fleets, and satellite constellations

As remote sensing and Earth observation technologies evolve rapidly, staying informed is more crucial than ever. This conference offers a unique chance to explore state-of-the-art technologies, applications, and challenges at both national and international levels.

The event will be hosted by CNR IREA at the Milan Territorial Research Area 1 (AdRMi1), in the heart of Città Studi.

The 12th AIT International Conference will offer a comprehensive program covering a broad spectrum of topics in remote and proximal sensing, spatial analysis, and environmental modeling. This edition will feature 17 thematic tracks and five Special Sessions, highlighting the most pressing challenges and innovative solutions in the field.
